FUNCTIONS OF PSMB JOHOR OFFICE
1. To process applications and approve financial assistance for employers in Johor for the following schemes:-
1.1 SBL (Skim Bantuan Latihan);
1.2 SBL-Online;
1.3 SBL-KHAS;
1.4 SBL-KHAS On-line;
1.5 PLT (Annual Training Plan);
1.6 Purchase of Training Equipment and Setting Up of Training Room Scheme;
1.7 Joint Training Scheme; and
1.8 Retrenched Workers Retraining Scheme.
2. To conduct special clinics for employers to reduce reject and query rates.
3. To visit and provide advice to employers to conduct training programmes and
increase their levy utilisation.
4. To conduct verification on training programmes to ensure that they are conducted
as stated in the applications.
5. To conduct HRDF workshops.
6. To advise employers pertaining to issues relating to the guidelines and procedures
under all schemes of PSMB.
7. To promote training and retraining of workers during exhibitions and training
fairs.
8. To assist employers in the submission of application forms.
9. To guide employers in the use of HRD Portal to seek information on training
programmes.
