MESSAGE FROM CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Mr. Tiew Hai San

On behalf of PSMB, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to YB Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam, Minister of Human Resources for gracing the opening of the PSMB 2008 Conference and presenting the Human Resources Development Awards recently. Heartiest congratulations to all employers and training providers who had won the awards and received certificates of appreciation. Special thanks to all participants and exhibitors who have made this year’s conference a success.

The Hon Minister of Human Resources had announced several initiatives that support employers in maximizing the use of HRDF for the training and retraining of their workers. Hence, I would like to urge all employers to take this opportunity to intensify their training initiatives. As we move into the last quarter of 2008, PSMB looks forward to deliver more to registered employers and training providers in enhancing human resources development particularly the SMEs, to have a more competitive workforce in the global market. It is the goal of PSMB to improve its delivery services and promoting training to employers.
